2023-2025 Re-election for National President of

Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc.

Let’s do this…

You're probably wondering, "Why is she running again?"  I assure you, I am running for a second term for National President because I want to, not because I have to.  I love serving at the pleasure of our members and the best is yet to come.  I have accomplished a lot in the last two years.  I've built a foundation of community care among our National Leaders where we are able to persist and conduct the business of the sorority; I have transformed the way we communicate with members through monthly communications, think tanks, surveys, and reports. And I've moved us out of the holding pattern of the pandemic into a season of action.  Now it’s time to take it to the next level.  If re-elected, I want to focus on three core approaches: cultivating an environment for change, designing systems for sustainability, and creating a culture of community care.

“It is our job as leaders to create opportunity for all members of TNX.”

Anything that stands in the way of opportunity for a member compromises our mission.  A big part of cultivating an environment for change is understanding that we must move through conflict. Click below for more information.

“It’s time to adopt new habits that diverge from deep seated norms.”

It’s time to critically evaluate the systems that our holding us back from real growth and sustainability. To design for sustainability, we have to be brave enough and daring enough to rip apart the pieces of who we have always been to make room for who we want to become. “It’s time to shake loose the ties that bind us to a toxic cycle of burnout and grind that is not serving our organization...”

In practice, this looks like being brave to press pause of things that we've "always done" and discover something new, breaking annual cycles that aren't contributing to our organizational growth, and leaning in to community care where we anchor our relationships with each other with two powerful questions- what do you need? And how can I help? Click below for more information.
